This game poses as a trap game. I hope our boys are ready for the task tonight because a wounded team is a dangerous team.

Interesting stats, particulalry the uptick in the last seven games. It sure tells a story, looking at the first 5 games separatley from the last seven with movement to the middle ground which is better than languishing in the basement.

Last nights worst player on the ice for both teams was big Buf. I did not see the first period, but his second, third and OT were nothing short of horrible. Can someone please expalin to Buf that he is not a forward, and that he is slower than he has ever been in the past so try staying at home?

It looked like to me that Buf must have had a double helping of steak and potatos an hour before the game because was completly lost last night. Second period he is skating with the forwards at the Habs blueline and the play is already crossing the redline going back to the Jets. He was unable to clear the puck in his own end, made nice tape to tape passes to the Habs Dmen, tried to kick the puck to himself at the hash mark in the Jets end, and when he couldn't come up with it, he was out of position, could have rifled the puck off the glass in OT and falls down like a bowling pin, Buf was awful. I don't what was up with him but he stunk! Part of the Jets breakdown in our end is due to Buf losing his thought process. In the previous games, he was responsible at the back side and last night was a pure example of Buf losing his concentration or whatever was going on as he went hybrid and his game went out the window. Just my opinion but for success, he can't play that way anymore due to age(too slow now), discipline for the team in terms of postioning, etc. We know his hybrid play does not work for team success and disipline and buying in does.

Helle was great!

When Perreault and Lowry are back, it’s Lemieux to the Moose and Hendricks to the press box, right? I’d also think Matthias our for Dano, but they aren’t that smart. If Hendricks stays in, there’s going to be some scorched earth on social media.

As mad as I am about it, Tanev is really improving on the offensive side of the puck. His defence is still a tire fire, but he’s finally a linemate for Copp. I say keep them together and put Matty on the other wing.

The winning percentage of this team with and without dano in the line up is huge, let it go. I don't care what he has done ever in the past. He has been the absolute worst jet this entire year, there is no stat you can show me that proves otherwise. Dano will be lucky to play another game for this team.

I can not believe I'm typing this but the copp line has been ridiculous steady game in and game out, and anylitics actual prove they have been more consistent than the top two lines. They deserve to stay together. Put Perrault and Lowry with either Lemieux or armia when they are back

Lemieux won’t be able to stay up with those two healthy, unfortunately. I don’t trust the Jets to be smart and waive a 37 year old AHLer.

Dano reminds me of Burmistrov. All over the ice and can not accomplish anything but a turnover. Guy has no place in the show.

Both Burmistrov and Dano have had excellent seasons before. Difference is Dano produced at a much higher rate, and unlike Burmi, his underlying numbers have continued to improve.

Whether or not Dano plays is not the issue. I believe that with a better structure this team could become a dominant team in the NHL. I think the Jets went on a run despite being out-coached. I love the Jets roster this year and predicted them to finish first in the Central.

Its coaching that will hold them back. With a better structure, this team should win 7 out of ten games regularly. We can't rely on Hellebyuck to win all the games for us.

I agree with everything not pertaining to Dano. Maurice gets slaughtered almost every game. We get caught on line changes, our 3rd and 4th lines get beat, and Kulikov and Myers just can’t do anything when they’re as overexposed as they are now. Both struggle mightily in the defensive zone.

Also, can we talk about the fact that Dano, Petan, Connor, Lemieux, and Armia have all been scratched at some point so Hendricks could be late to every loose puck, lose every battle, and get outskated on every play?
